Design & Technology

At Lily Lane, the Design Technology curriculum encourages pupils to learn, apply, and strengthen essential skills in designing, making, and evaluating effective products for specific purposes. By tapping into their creativity and imagination, children design and create solutions to real-world problems, considering both their own needs and those of others. The curriculum also includes food technology, where students explore healthy meal design alongside practical cooking skills. This hands-on approach not only engages pupils but also equips them with valuable life skills for the future.
