About Us

Lily Lane Primary School

We are very proud of our school and its achievements. Our shared vision is that every child will learn and succeed. We aim to educate the whole child in achieving not only academic success but physical, moral, cultural and emotional well-being. We do this by providing a broad and balanced curriculum so that children really can succeed and enjoy their education.

Our school:

Lily Lane Primary School was built in 1904. We now have approximately 578 pupils on roll with an additional 60 place nursey. Due to increasing pupil numbers, we now have 90 children in Reception, 75 in Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 and 90 in year 4, 5 and 6. Teachers within the same year group meet regularly to jointly plan their lessons.

We aim to provide a high standard of education within a caring and secure environment and we have a very committed and hard-working staff to help achieve this.

If you have any concerns or questions about your child’s education please do not hesitate to speak to your child’s teacher or call into the office to make an appointment.

In addition to our classrooms we have an ICT suite, a music room, parent community room and a large outdoor area with a MUGA’ (multi-use games area).

We are looking forward to the opening of our new EYFs outdoor learning area.

If you have any questions about our school, please do not hesitate to telephone, e-mail or visit. Please see the ‘Contact us’ page for details.
